Cedarbrook Camps
About Us
What is a Cedarbrook Camp?
Cedarbrook Camps are a network of independent, Christ-centered camps united by a shared mission: helping campers know and grow in Jesus Christ through outdoor adventure, authentic community, and intentional discipleship.
Each Cedarbrook Camp offers a purposeful program designed to nurture spiritual formation, relationships and community, skill building and individual development, and appreciation of God’s creation. Together, these four core values shape every activity — from cabin devotions and worship to skill classes and campfire times.
While each camp operates independently, all are connected through the Association of Cedarbrook Camps (ACC), which provides training, resources, and support to ensure excellence in ministry and consistency in philosophy. Across the U.S. and Canada, Cedarbrook Camps are places where faith grows naturally, leadership is cultivated, and lives are transformed by the love of Christ.
Our Statement of Faith
About Us
The Association of Cedarbrook Camps (ACC) was founded to unite, strengthen, and support the growing network of Cedarbrook camps that shared a common philosophy and purpose.
Our Mission and Purpose
The mission of Association of Cedarbrook Camps (ACC) is to support member camps with their Cedarbrook Camp ministries in their efforts to accelerate the gospel of Jesus Christ by providing resources, training, and networking opportunities. We partner with camps to equip them with the tools needed to run effective, safe, and impactful programs.
Our Vision
Our vision is to partner with camps to change lives. We achieve this by offering training programs, like Director and Board Training, which help camp leaders manage their camps with excellence. Through the Cedarbrook Association Member Portal (CAMP), we provide resources such as templates and shared camp documents to support camp operations. Cedarbrook Academy offers online training to enhance leadership skills and deepen understanding of supporting and guiding campers.
Additionally, we offer practical benefits like discounted services, networking opportunities, and resources for camp operations, marketing, and fundraising. Our partnerships with organizations like Alliance Defending Freedom and CCLI, provide further resources, tools, and discounts to help camps run efficiently and affordably.
By investing in the growth of our Member Camps and fostering collaboration, we help create communities where individuals grow in faith, leadership, and character.

Our Story
The Association of Cedarbrook Camps (ACC) was founded to unite, strengthen, and support the growing network of Cedarbrook camps that shared a common philosophy and purpose.
As individual camps multiplied across North America — each rooted in the same Christ-centered philosophy but operating independently — leaders saw the need for a central organization to:
Preserve the Cedarbrook identity and philosophy, ensuring that every camp remained committed to helping campers know and grow in Jesus Christ.
Provide shared training, standards, and resources to maintain quality and consistency in programming and leadership development.
Foster collaboration and accountability among member camps through peer review, mentoring, and fellowship.
Advance the mission collectively, offering greater visibility, unity, and impact than any one camp could achieve alone.
Since its founding in 1992, the Association has served as both a network and a catalyst, equipping camps to thrive in ministry while remaining true to their distinct Cedarbrook heritage and values.

Our Core Values
At Cedarbrook Camps, our four core values—spiritual formation, relationships and community, skill building, and creation appreciation—are at the heart of our program. These values are woven into camp life through activities that help campers grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, develop leadership skills, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for God’s creation. Together, they provide a well-rounded approach to growth, nurturing both spiritual development and connections with others.
Together, our four core values—Spiritual Formation, Relationships & Community, Skill Building & Individual Development, and Creation Appreciation—shape every part of the Cedarbrook experience.
Through these values, Cedarbrook Camps offer a purposeful program designed to help campers deepen their walk with Christ, grow in character, and build rhythms that last a lifetime.
We live this out through intentional practices woven throughout our program—moments of reflection, shared worship, skill challenges, and the beauty of God’s creation—all pointing campers toward a vibrant, lifelong faith.
